TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Waterfall Mall, managed by Growthpoint Properties Limited (the Promoter).

  1. Campaign Dates
  • The Loyalty Program commences on 12 September 2025 and will run until otherwise communicated by Waterfall Mall.
  • Only purchases made during the campaign period will qualify.
  • The campaign will be a month-to-month campaign with a grand prize after 12 months of the campaign.
  • Each month, selected tenants will be featured as part of our rewards programme. By shopping at these featured stores, you can earn entries and stand a chance to win exciting monthly rewards. The list of participating tenants will be refreshed and announced by the 5th of every month. New tenants will be announced by the 5th of every month for new entry and new rewards applicable for the month.
  1. Eligibility
  • The Loyalty Program is open to all shoppers of Waterfall Mall who are 18 years or older.
  • Employees of Waterfall Mall, Growthpoint Management Services Limited, participating tenants, their immediate families, or agencies directly involved in this promotion are not eligible to participate.
  1. How to Enter
  • To participate, shoppers must spend a minimum of R300 (three hundred rand) per till slip/transaction at any of the featured participating tenants:
  • Milaneza
  • Cajees
  • Contempo
  • Game
  • Shoppers must present their valid till slips at the centre management office (or as otherwise instructed) to qualify for rewards.
  • Shoppers can enter multiple times, provided each entry is supported by a valid till slip of R300 or more.
  • Multiple till slips may not be combined to reach the qualifying spend of R300.
  • Each entry must therefore be supported by an individual till slip that meets the minimum spend threshold.

 

  1. Rewards & Prizes
  • Featured Tenant Rewards: Shoppers who qualify will receive rewards from the featured tenants (while stocks last).

Waterfall Mall Vouchers:

  • Customers who spend the most at any one of the featured tenants stand a chance to win one of three Waterfall Mall vouchers valued at R200, R300, and R500.

Sun City Vouchers:

  • Shoppers who spend R300 or more on at least 3 separate occasions in the same month at the participating stores will qualify for entry into the Sun City Valley of the waves, Quad biking or Segway Lake Glide tour voucher giveaway. (Please note that there’s t’s & c’s that are applicable for the Suncity rewards).
  • The Sun City vouchers are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of Sun City Resort.
  • Waterfall Mall reserves the right to verify all till slips directly with the participating tenants to ensure authenticity and validity of the purchase. Any fraudulent, altered, or unverified till slips will result in automatic disqualification.
  1. Winner Selection & Announcement
  • Winners will be determined by verified spend analysis from the participating stores and/or Waterfall Mall management.
  • Winners of the Waterfall Mall vouchers and Sun City vouchers will be announced on Waterfall Mall’s social media platforms and contacted directly by Waterfall Mall via the contact details provided.
  • If a winner cannot be reached within 7 days, an alternate winner may be selected.
  • Winners need to come collect their prizes within 30 days of the announcement.
  1. General Conditions
  • Till slips must be original, dated within the campaign period, and from Milaneza, Cajees, Contempo, Game and other Waterfall Mall stores for the ultimate prize. Photocopies or altered slips will not be accepted.
  • Prizes are not transferable, refundable, or exchangeable for cash.
  • By entering, participants agree to have their names and/or photographs used for promotional purposes by Waterfall Mall without additional compensation.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.
  • The decision of the Promoter regarding all aspects of the competition, including verification of spend and selection of winners, is final and binding.
  1. Liability
  • Participation in the competition is at the entrant’s own risk.
  • The Promoter and its partners accept no liability for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the promotion or acceptance of a prize.
  1. Acceptance
  • By participating in this program, shoppers are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

 

 

 

Additional Terms & Conditions – For the Ultimate Prize Giveaway

  1. Ultimate Prize for the 12 months
  • At the conclusion of the Waterfall Mall Loyalty Program, an Ultimate Prize Giveaway will be held.

            The prizes include:

  • A vacation for two (2) at The Palace, Sun City, on terms and conditions agreed with Sun City or
  • A Waterfall Mall shopping spree to the value of R12,000,
  • Along with additional spot prizes to be awarded at the Promoter’s discretion.
  1. Entry into the Ultimate Prize Draw
  • All entries received from the start of the Loyalty Program campaign will automatically be included in the Ultimate Prize draw in August 2026.
  • The Ultimate Prize draw will only take place after a period of 12 months from the commencement date of the campaign.
  • To qualify, shoppers must have entered the Loyalty Program by meeting the spend requirements set out in the general Terms & Conditions.
  1. Qualifying Spend
  • Only valid entries supported by a single till slip reflecting a spend of R300 or more per transaction at any Waterfall Mall store will be considered.
  • Special emphasis will be placed on spend at the monthly featured tenants for the monthly rewards.
  • Multiple till slips may not be combined to reach the qualifying spend of R300.
  1. Alignment with General Terms
  • All entries into the Ultimate Prize Giveaway remain subject to the general Terms & Conditions of the Waterfall Mall Loyalty Program.
  • Any disqualification under the general Terms & Conditions will also apply to entries into the Ultimate Prize Giveaway.
  1. Winner Selection & Notification
  • Winners will be selected by way of a random draw conducted by the Promoter or an appointed independent party.
  • The draw for the Ultimate Prize will take place after the 12-month period has concluded, on a date to be communicated via Waterfall Mall’s official platforms.
  • Winners will be announced on Waterfall Mall’s social media channels and contacted directly using the details provided at the time of entry.
  • We will have a live draw for the ultimate prize give away, the live give away gate will be announced closer to August 2026.
  • If a winner cannot be reached within 7 days, an alternate winner may be selected.
  1. General Conditions
  • Prizes are not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes with others of equal or greater value should the advertised prizes become unavailable for reasons beyond its control.
  • Participation in the Ultimate Prize Giveaway is deemed acceptance of these Additional Terms & Conditions in conjunction with the general Terms & Conditions of the Loyalty Program.
  1. Protection of Personal Information

By entering this competition, participants acknowledge and agree that any personal information provided will be collected and processed by Waterfall Mall in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, No. 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”). The information will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition, contacting winners, and delivering prizes.

Waterfall Mall undertakes to:

  • Process personal information lawfully and responsibly.
  • Implement appropriate security measures to safeguard personal data.
  • Retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the competition’s objectives.
  • Not share personal information with third parties unless required for prize fulfilment or by law.
